Sallesa Maree Snarr, 46, of Rupert, Idaho passed away at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Sallesa was the oldest of two daughters born to Sallee Lee Weaver and Jerry W. Hurd, born on April 13, 1970 in Bountiful,Utah. At the age of 22 months, Sallesa went to Germany with her mother, and little sister, as their father was serving in the United States Army. They came back home late fall of 1972 and her mother and father were later divorced.

Sallesa, her mother and sister, moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where they had family support from extended family members. She was a happy normal child and loved being around family. She especially loved her baby sister Shanda. She was raised in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1989. When she was nine years old she was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by her Uncle Arthur D. Williams.

In 1988, Sallesa and her sister Shanda were both contestants in the Blackfoot Junior Miss Program. She loved being part of this elite group of young women and she learned so many things that stayed with her throughout her life.

Sallesa married Eric S. Snarr of Idaho Falls, Idaho in Elko, Nevada on April 10, 1994. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple as a family for all eternity. Sallesa was a "People Person," who loved to serve. She was a faithful member of the church serving in many callings. She would seek for those in need and help serve their needs whether it was a call, visit or a special note or card, she was there to serve. She was very caring and kind to all she met and knew. She especially loved keeping track of some of her classmates on Facebook. At the time of her death, she was a substitute school teacher with both Minidoka and Cassia School Districts.

Sallesa is survived by her husband Eric of Rupert, her three sons, Jayd (Alicia) Snarr of Rupert, Tayson Snarr, serving a mission in the Arizona Mesa Mission, Skyler Snarr of Rupert, and a daughter Kylee Snarr also of Rupert; her mother, Sallee Lee Weaver of Snowflake, Arizona and her sister Shanda (Layne) Lloyd also of Snowflake, Arizona; her half-sister, Kaaryn (Kurt) Van Ginkel of Benson, Arizona; her mother-in-law, Linda Snarr of Idaho Falls, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry W. Hurd, her father-in-law, Robert Snarr, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her uncle, Arthur D. Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Rupert Stake Center, 324 East 18th in Rupert. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Cemetery in Idaho Falls, ID. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert and from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the funeral. Mom, I miss you! Everything now only reminds me of you, the music you loved, shows you watched, food you liked, down to the places you visited. Most of all I miss your soothing voice, your funny laugh, your radiant smile, your crooked glasses, your hugs, your love. I know I won't see you everyday, but I know I will see you soon. Until then I know I will feel you always walking life with me. Your es-e-squire, your baby boy loves you!

My dear, sweet, beautiful birthday girl. no matter how difficult your life was at times; you always could find that smile. I'll always remember how excited and happy we were that you were born on my birthday. That made us especially close.  You are one of our Heavenly Father's special daughters!
I will love you forever. May your loved ones always cherish your memory, and stay close to the Gospel as I know you would want them to. Until we meet again.  And we will.

My dearest sister, even tho we were not raised together you were still my big sister and growing up in different states I looked up to you. I am sorry I did not call you more I now wish I had. I will always remember you for your sweet soul, even tho we are 13 years that separate us in age and we are only half sisters. you looked past that and always just called me your little sister. Time and space may have kept us apart, but love always kept us close to the heart.
You always loved everyone whole heartedley, you were the one to lift everyone up with your beautiful smile that could turn any frown upsidee down, you were the one who put everyone first and your self last, you were the one who did not let the impossible stand in your way and you will always be my big sister and I will see you again one day. You may be gone for now but you will always be in my heart forever and for always my sister you'll be. Love you for always sister.

Eric and family,
We just want you to know how very sorry we are to hear of Sallesa's passing! May each of you always feel her spirit with you as you continue forward. We will never forget her kind and compassionate heart and her loving actions toward us and our family when Our Angel Anna Laura passed away! It felt as though she never left our sides! Then when my mother passed so soon after, there she was again with all her heart and soul! She and her beautiful smile and spirit will be sorely missed! May you feel of our love, our thoughts and know that we pray for Father's loving peace and comfort to be with you all as you say goodbye for now. Sallesa, my dear friend and sister in the gospel, may your sweet spirit rest in peace until that glorious day of RESURRECTION comes and the Lord I'm sure can tell you "well done thou good and faithful servant"!

Much love to you all,
Eddie, Sara, Brittany, & Bryant Christensen

My heart is full, I just can't believe she is gone. Shanda, I am so sorry for your loss. Also for the loss of a great friend to Debbie, my sister. Sallesa and Debbie were so close I don't think a day went by without these two texting or calling each other the past 2 or so years. Sallesa helped Debbie through her divorce and all her trials so much.. she was a wonderful friend to Debbie. It was good to see her at the E.I.S.F. after not seeing her for a few years. My prayers are with you, her Husband and children.
