Michael B. Telleria, 53 year old Rupert resident, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at his home in Rupert. Michael was born June 20th, 1963, in Burley, Idaho to Joseba Andoni Telleria and Roberta 'Bobbie' Maria Thomas Telleria. He was married to Brenda Faith Suchan in May, 1982 and fathered two children, Nichole Wynter Telleria and Vincent Michael Telleria. Michael and Brenda later divorced, and in 2008 he married Monnie Sue Munson. They remained together until his passing. Michael was an ornery, stubborn, hardworking jack of all trades. He was a lifelong resident of the Mini-Cassia area. He was primarily a contractor for many years, known for his strong work ethic and high standards. He was a self-sacrificing man who was always willing to do work for others and could be fully trusted to get the job done. Michael was a perfect embodiment of the 'shoulda-coulda-woulda' philosophy, living life the way he wanted. He was an avid story teller, often reminiscing about the trouble he got into and his not-safe-for-work adventures. He loved to fish and would visit Costa Rica. Michael is preceded in death by his father Joseba Telleria, his brother Chick Telleria, and his mother Bobbie Thomas Telleria. He is survived by his wife Monnie, his brother Nick Telleria, children Nichole Telleria and Vincent Telleria, and grandchildren Charolette Dunn and Everett Telleria, and step- children Carly Garro and Clayton Garro and grandchildren Elliot and Legend.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert.

I knew Mike's older brother better. I would run into Mike every 2 to 3 years, always enjoyed the time. He was a free spirit.

Mike was truly a great man & stubborn to go with it. He taught me many things involving work & life. He was the first person to take me deer hunting & we went every year for 3 years. He was excited every time because he stopped hunting for a good while & I think that taking us was a way to say thank you. I will miss his stories & the looks he would give you if you said something stupid. We had a lot of fun times with him on jobs out of town. He would give you the shirt off his back & I will always appreciate that! Thank you Michael for everything!!! He would rather I didn't feel sorrow or regrets, just to laugh and remember him by stories. And to get my butt back to work!!! I love you mike!! Rest in peace you aunry basko!!!

Dear Telleria family,
please accept my condolences for your loss. I went to school with Mike from 1st grade through 12th. Although we didn't stay in touch after high school I will always remember my friends and classmates from St. Nicholas. Rest in peace Mike. May god bless your soul.
