Dennis Darrell Florke, 65, passed away peacefully at his home from rapid spreading kidney cancer, Thursday august 10th, 2017.

He was born July 17, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa to the proud parents, Darrell and Marlene Florke. Where he became known as cute, little deny Florke.

In 1970, he graduated from Savannah High School in Anaheim, California, no thanks to the department store he worked at, where he was unjustly fired for not going to work on his graduation day. No biggy, he had 33 jobs in his life, mostly all automotive related.

Cars have been in his blood all his life, from his grandpa, Rud had a small Ford dealership, thank god he went to ca, turning into a Chevy man, buying the 1st light blue luv p/u in Anaheim to owning his own car dealership, pacific motors for 15 years, also having many cooler, older luxury cars.

In 1979, he meant and married the love of his life, Cindy Goodrich, 2 years later. In 1983, Rudy Michael was born, out doing his brothers with the first boy, go Denny!!!

Not only did he loves cars, but dirt bike riding, star wars, napoleon dynamite, Boise State Broncos, which he enjoyed with Rudy, our son and his German Shepard pups, Stormer, RJ, Easy, Bubba, Al, Boo Boo and Lula Belle.

In 1988, he established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!!!!  He attended the RUMC, then The Springs, and now the First Baptist Church in Rupert. He used to say we are all Christians, Jesus loves each and every one of us.

Survivors include his mother (Marlene), his wife, Cindy of 36 years, one son, Rudy(Castula) Florke, 2 grandkids, Robert and Syndey, of Lubbock Texas, brothers, Douglas Florke, niece Christy, nephews, Trae, Ryan and Shawn, David (Marty) Florke, niece, Michelle, nephews, Michael and Skylar, Shawna, Crisann, Dustin and Heidi, and all their significant others. His grand nephews and grand nieces, many cousins and many racing friends.

Joining them in heaven, both sets of grandparents, his father, and his in-laws, uncles and aunts..

Special thanks to dr. Boettcher, friend and doctor, and staff, Minidoka Memorial Hospice team, Norco, neighbors, the Jesse Castro family, the Ketterlings, Rocky Rockwell, my brother, Joe and sister-in-law, Roxy Goodrich, and the sanders.

Denny has won the victory from cancer flying into his heavenly father's arms.

He has requested that all his family and friends form a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to join him someday in heaven.

Visitation will be held 9 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Rupert 807 5th St. (on the corner of 5th and H St.). His celebration of his life will be Saturday August 19th, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Sanders, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dennis Florke family. A meal to immediately follow at Pete and Yolanda Sapien's house.
