Donna Dee Pool, our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to many went home to be with Jesus on April 19, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Donna was born on October 22, 1936 to Warren Kerrigan Clark and Ella Mildred Clark in Longton, Kansas. Donna lived and attended school in Longton until her parents moved the family to Larned, Kansas where she met Kenneth Pool and fell in love. Donna and Kenneth were married on February 5, 1953 in Larned, Kansas. Kenneth, Donna and their young family came to Idaho in 1959 to build their future. Donna quickly became lifelong friends with Arlene Bill and Madge Schummer. Donna and Kenneth dissolved their marriage in 1975 and Donna worked at Ore Ida Foods in Burley and Magic Valley Foods in Rupert, Idaho until she retired. Donna is survived by her children, Jana Perotto of Twin Falls, Idaho, Michael Pool of Burley, Idaho, Teresa Pool of Burley, Idaho, Kenda(Albert) Castro of Acequia, Idaho, Steven Pool of Twin Falls, Idaho, Kenneth Pool of St. Paul, Minnesota, Linda Phillips of Boise, Idaho, Patricia Palmer of Challis, Idaho and Jeffery Pool of Burley, Idaho, and her furbabies Little Mister and Missy. Along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Larry Pool, twin sons Keith and Kevin Pool, a daughter Sandra Pool, and her longtime companion Gizmo. Our family is asking friends to bring a red helium balloon filled with memories of Donna. Balloons will be released at the closing of the service to carry your messages to Donna at her new home in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert. Urn Placement will follow in the Paul Cemetery.
