Dennis D. Wilkie of Rupert died February 2, 2015 at his home. Dennis was born in Corydon, Iowa to Gurley and Wilma Wilkie on May 3, 1950. Dennis married Leona on Aug. 3 1972. They had two children. Dennis worked and retired from M.I.D as their Pump Maintenance Man. He loved his family and grandchildren. Dennis is survived by two children; Donna Wilkie of Boise ID. and Clay(Crystal) Wilkie of Heyburn , ID.; seven grandchildren, Tyler(Dejay) Calderon of Burley ID, Hailie (Brandon) Scown of Boise ID, Dakota Mothershed of Boise ID, Nathan Wilkie of Cleveland OH, Kayla Blackwell, who is serving in the US Navy, Stormie Wilkie of Heyburn ID, and Zane Wilkie of Heyburn ID.; Two great grandchildren,Jayce Mothershed and Brielle Scown both from Boise ID; Two Brothers, Steve (Kathy) Wilkie Burley ID, Tim(Lona) Wilkie Hillsboro OR; one sister Julie(Reed) Wyatt. Dennis was preceded in death by his two parents, his wife Leona of 42 years.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Paul Congregational Church 129 North 2nd West in Paul.
