Clay Craig Garro died March 25, 2017 at the age of 38 in Rupert, Idaho. He was born December 1, 1978 in Seattle Washington. He is the son of Monnie Telleria and John L. Garro of Rupert, Idaho.
Clay graduated from Minico High School in 1996. He enjoyed auto mechanics and the welding classes he took in high school. Clay dreamed of being a Navy Seal. He enlisted in the Navy and graduated from basic training. He continued training in San Diego where his dreams of being a seal were destroyed after he sustained severe injuries there. His life was never to be the same after he left the military. Clay enjoyed working for Barclay Mechanical, Idaho Sheet Metal and Kodiak Northwest. Clay was a jack of all trades, he could do almost anything he set his mind to.
Those that knew Clay shared with him his vibrant soul and abounding energy. He made you smile constantly, you could never keep up with the stories he told and the pace in which he told them. He was a giver, a dreamer, a hugger and a hustler. He loved to hike, trail run and work on his vehicles. Clay enjoyed every minute he spent with Sally and the staff at Oats Family Counseling. Clay was the best uncle ever. He had a special place in his heart for his nephew Elliott Farley who he spent hours and hours talking on the phone with.
He leaves behind his parents, his sister Carly and her husband Ian Farley and nephews Elliott and Legend. Grandparents Morris and Donna Martell and his aunts Christie Colvin, Patty Simpson and uncle Myles Martell, grandmother Loretta Garro, aunt JoAnna Erickson, uncle Tony Garro and cousins Matt and Zach. He was preceded in death by his step-father Mike Telleria and Grandfather John L. Garro
Clay struggled for years to find a place to belong. His family prays he has finally found that place of peace.

Monnie And John,
Randy and I are so very sorry to hear of your loss. Clayton was always so fun to watch as a young boy in baseball. Randy loved his natural talent and enjoyed coaching him. I remember his bright blue eyes and big smile. We send our deepest sympathy because we are well aware how it feels to lose a child. Please take care.
Sincerely,
Randy and Criss Rich

Clay you showed me so much the first years meeting. I have a ton of great memories made only possible because of you, your wild sense of adventure. We continued to meet up through the journey sharing more of ourselves each time. I will miss the next random missed "hey you". Your presence never far and you adviced me through so much I wish I had even half as big of a chance to have bettered yours.
