Richard Vern Carlson, 70, of Paul, ID, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT following a stroke on April 14.
Born March 26, 1947, in Burley, ID, the son of Vern and Merle Carlson, he graduated from Burley High School in 1965. He had a passion for tall ships and was proud of his service in the US Air Force.
Richard was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by wife Janie (Jolley) Carlson married February 14, 1969, daughters Jennifer DeNaughel of Paul and Melissa Anderson of Burley, two grandchildren Mikayla and Keenan Cooper, three brothers, Ralph, Wayne, Dale and a sister Cheryl Piper.
