Well Max, I guess you calculated it about right. Last summer when we talked you advised me you were sticking around until your girl friend parted this life. You can't get any closer then that…good luck buddy/cousin it was good working with you at IMF and having those enjoyable wayside visits..John

Max was one of those who truly could be called one of the most unforgettable characters I ever met-in the best sense. We have lost a lot of fun in life. Wherever you are, keep up the good life.

My sincere condolences to Max's family in the loss of both Karen and Max within a few weeks. Even though we have been geographically separated for many decades, Max was a fun cousin who I grew up with less than a mile away. As a result, I have many fond memories of playing games in the evenings with other cousins under moonlight and a large pole light. All the best as you grieve his loss and miss his presence.

I was unable to attend Karen’s funeral so I was going to send you a card and tell you how sorry I was for your loss. You didn't give me a chance to send that card my friend as you needed to be with Karen instead and I totally understand. Even though I did not get to see you very often anymore you always put a smile on my face when I did. Farewell friend…
