Lois Ann Stanton, 77 passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 12, 2017. Lois was born October 25, 1939 to Richard and Clara Still in Sandpoint, Idaho. She graduated from High School in Gooding, Idaho. In 1958 she received a diploma from Kinman Business University. On March 31, 1960 she married George Stanton. To this union Mark was born. The family resided in Malta for over 40 years where she enjoyed many friendships. After retirement, they move to Burley. Lois enjoyed camping, reading, family, friends and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband George and son Mark. She is survived by her sister Vivian (Gale Conard) Crabtree of Moses Lake, Washington; brother Vernon (Diana) Still of Burley; grandson Kasey Stanton of Boise and one great granddaughter. In keeping with her wishes, there will not be any formal services. Cremation services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert. The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Estates and Hospice for her care in her final days. Lois will be greatly missed.
