Melody Jean (Dale) Bond passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Melody was born on 10 October 1947 in Pendleton, Ore. She was raised on her family ranch in Helix, Ore.  She married John Bond in 1966 and moved to the Seattle area where they raised four children and spent the next thirty seven years.

Melody and John have called Rupert home for the past sixteen years.

Melody’s hobbies included sewing and baking and sharing her talents with others. She supported John in his rendezvous adventures and worked with the young women of her church for over sixteen years.

Melody was nicknamed Darlin’ by her first grandchild and it is a title she has kept for over thirty years.

Her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of her children and grandchildren that will never be filled.

Please join the family to share memories, Friday evening, April 20^th from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Relief Society room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Acequia.
