James Bruce Heuer died, unexpectedly on June 7, 2018 of natural causes, at his home in St. George, Utah. Jim was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on March 31, 1933. He was the fourth child of Wilbur James Heuer and Helen Susan Trotter.
He was the husband of Norma Luceil Nelson and the father of four sons. He had two sisters: Patricia Ruth Eckhardt and Shirley Joan Johnson, and one brother, Thomas Lee Heuer.
He was raised in Edgerton, Wisconsin, and graduated from Edgerton High School in 1951. He attended the University of Wisconsin for a time, majoring in engineering, but Jim did not enjoy it so he decided to pursue sales after taking Dale Carnegie’s course in selling. Sales became his life’s work.
