Georgia P. Brandon, 97, died Tuesday evening, May 5, 2015 in Placerville, California.  She was born March 23, 1918 in Gillette, Wyoming to James Marion Keck and Edith Myrtle (Meeks) Keck. A family filled with musical talent, Georgia loved to sing while her father and sisters played various instruments.  She married Jack A. Brandon Sr. on February 25, 1935 in Billings, Montana at the First Congregational Church.  She worked for the Ore-Ida plant in Heyburn, Idaho for many years until her retirement.  With an immense love and care for others, she served her family, her friends and her community, volunteering hundreds of hours at the Burley Senior Center between 1982 and 1990.

She is survived by one sister: Beulah J. (Keck) Barrett, St. Petersburg, FL, two children: Mr. Jack A Brandon Jr. of Eugene, OR; and Mrs. Mary (DeLyn) Poulton, of Pollock Pines, CA; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren with one on the way.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one child, Barbara E. Brandon.  A graveside service will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015.  Morrison Payne Funeral Home 321 East Main Street in Burley is in charge of arrangements.
