Our sweet, God fearing mama Diana, (60) of Heyburn, who was loved by so many made her journey home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday June 6, 2022.
She was born in Rupert, ID on June 11, 1961 to Raul and Theresa Zamora. She was the oldest of 5 children, and blessed to be the only daughter. She loved her brothers fiercely and they loved her.
She spent her school age years in Rupert, graduating from Minico High School in 1979. One of her fondest memories that she loved to share was when she played in a powder puff game and got to wear the full gear. She would laugh when she would tell her grandkids the story.
She bought a home and moved to Heyburn where she resided until her last days. She gave birth to two children Sandy and Zachary. She was also blessed with 6 grandchildren and she spoke of them often. She enjoyed attending all of their different sports functions and cheering them on.
Diana loved to help others so much that she found herself working in the medical field where she could help as many people as possible.
Diana married Chuck Carter on September 4, 2021. They had a lovely wedding and reception where she danced nearly the entire time. She was so happy to have her family there all together with her.
Diana is survived by her husband Chuck of Heyburn,ID; her children, Sandy (Ruben) Olmos of Jerome,ID; Zachary (Mandi) Winter of Heyburn,ID; brothers, Robert (Yazmina) Zamora of Mesa,AZ; Albert (Cynthia) Zamora of Glendale,AZ; Raul (Martha) Zamora of Peoria,AZ; grandchildren, Anfernie (JoJo Marie) Olmos; Kobe, Jacelynn, and Austin Olmos; Jacob and Jaden Winter; great grandchildren, Taven and Tucker; one sweet soon to be great granddaughter who will share her name; and so many nieces and nephews that she cared a great deal for.
To say that our family has suffered a great loss would be a huge understatement. We are so appreciative of all the love and support we’ve received and we know that our mama would appreciate it as well.
