On December 20, 2023 Cary Eugene Campfield, our beloved father, passed away from pancreatic cancer. Cary was born April 20, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles and Shirley Campfield. In 1973 the family moved to Sommers, Montana for a year and then to Missoula, Montana where Cary graduated from Hellgate High School. In 1983 Cary met the love of his life, Cathy (passed in 2020), and they married in 1990.

Cary was a father of 4, a grandfather of 6, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a jack of all trades working in many different fields but boxing was where his heart was. And Harley’s, he always dreamed of having one of his own. Cary was a character who always had us laughing at his antics. He was a master collector and always saw value in things others would consider junk. In Cary’s final days, his greatest comfort was knowing he was going home to his beloved wife. They are now together again for eternity.

A memorial for Cary and Cathy will be held in the Missoula area in the summer of 2024.
