Norman Jackson Cole, 78 year old Rupert resident, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly.  He was born on March 21, 1936 in Kaysville, Utah, the son of Ernest P. And Nellie Jackson Cole.  Norman served our country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army for six years.  After returning home, he married Helen Schell.  To this union, two children were born.  They later divorced.  He then married Sandra Sawtelle on January 26, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Norman drove long haul truck for fifty years.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra of Rupert; son, Ernest (Rhonda) Cole of Lees Summit, Missouri; daughter Robin (Dwayne) Anderson of Kerns, UT.; Step-son Corey (Rhonda) Ipsen of Rupert; two sisters Reta (Lee) Dearden of Riverside, UT. Donna McCallister of Emeryville, CA. Twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive him.  He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.  Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert.
