Korky McWilliams passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home Monday August 12th after a short, but courageous fight with Cancer.

Korky was born in Salt Lake City Utah on October 6, 1949, to Austin “Tude” and Marinell (Whitman) McWilliams.

Korky was born into a farming and ranching family, and he joined the Army in May of 1969 and spent time fighting for our country with the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. After returning and leaving the Army, Korky took different jobs in Utah and Nevada such as a welder and a cowboy before deciding to settle in the MiniCassia area. Korky spent many years as a highly accomplished welder, working for local welding/fabrication outfits.

Korky decided a change of careers was in order and always ready for an adventure, bought a brand-new red Freightliner! He spent time driving across this great country of ours eventually deciding to sell his truck and taking more local, home every night routes in order to spend more time with his wife Cindy McWilliams.

Korky and Cindy McWilliams were married in November of 1995. After 29 years of marriage, they have many wonderful memories and have made more friends than we could possibly mention!

Korky is preceded in death by his parents Austin “Tude” McWilliams, Marinell (Whitman) McWilliams, his brothers Austin Lee McWilliams, Jasper Reese McWilliams, Ivan Monroe McWilliams, and sister Ethel Maude “Lukie” McWilliams.

Korky is survived by his wife of 29 years Cindy McWilliams, Brother Frosty (Cindy) McWilliams, Daughter Penni (Tara) Andoe, sons Thomas McWilliams and Brad (Alu) McWilliams, Stepchildren Carl (Amy) Wiberg, Christopher Wiberg and Chelsea Rosenberg, Caryn (Clint) Loveday. Along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life, though the date is yet to be determined.
