Yvonne Ann Weimer

Yvonne Ann Weimer, 88 passed away on November 14, 2024, surrounded by her family.  Yvonne was born on September 6, 1936, in Wood, South Dakota.  She was always telling stories about how her and her siblings would ride their horses to school and the mischief they always seemed to get into.

Yvonne met and married the love of her life, Paul Bean.  They were blessed with three children.  Rodney, Marty, and Laura.  They were together until a tragic accident took him from us on January 12, 1971.  Yvonne enjoyed playing cards, cooking, but mostly spending time with her family.  Yvonne was a dental assistant for many years.  She loved her job and working with people.

Yvonne had a second chance at love when she met and married John.  They had twenty-one wonderful years together.  They enjoyed traveling and going to motor cross races and family gatherings.

Yvonne was proceeded in death by her mother and father, brother Darold and son Marty.

 She is survived by her husband John Weimer, her children Rodney Bean, Laura (Ryn) Harman, her siblings Warren (Claira) Krieger, Harvey Krieger, Larry (Sandra) Krieger, Clarice Leslie, Kay Rehn, Karen (Paul) Walker, her grandchildren Chris Jones, Brandon (Abbye) Jones, Josh Bean, Nick Bean, her great grandchildren Braxtyn Jones, Autym Jones, Kash Jones, and Matlynn Prescott.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Morey’s Steakhouse 219 E 3^rd Street N, Burley, Idaho.  Cremation Services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert.

Dear Clarice, Warren and I are both so very sorry for your loss. We love you and we hurt when you hurt. Your sister sounds like a wonderful person. I want to hear more about your horseback riding and all your shenanigans with Yvonne. I loved the times I wasn't busy while she was sitting under a hair dryer at the salon. We would lean our heads together and whisper and gossip!! Hahahahaha We had a lot of laughs. She was a sweet lady indeed. Penny Jo Brown

I just wanted to say a few things about my Aunt Yvonne. She was like a second mother to me. Ever since I can remember I stayed with her family for about a week every summer going on the milk route every day while Rodney and Marty switched off. I loved riding with Uncle Paul, joking and laughing, and playing all the stupid boy games, especially the fart game. Your mom would cook us a meal, my favorite was mac and cheese, fried taters, and pork and beans all mixed together, in the early afternoon so could all get to bed early because we had to get up so early for another day on the milk route. When your dad passed away in 1971, you all flew to New York at Christmas. It was a very sad time, but we all had such a good time touring New York City. The Empire State building, Rockefeller Center, Greenwich Village, and all the beautiful Christmas decorations in the City. After I got older, I would drive to Burley once a year and spend a lot of time with Marty and your mom. After Marty passed away, I would come and spend time with your mom. She would ask what I wanted for dinner, mexican, italian, or chinese, which of course meant she would buy and I would fly. Once she married John, I would stay with them when I visited. Now I spend it with Laura and Ryn. I have always been a part of your family, and your mom has always been in my life as far back as I can remember. I loved her as though she was my own mother, and I now miss her in the same way. Some good stories I remember are when she went to Jackpot and got stuck in the seat belt. I can't remember who she was all with, ask Auntie Kay, but they tried everything to try and get her out, including her trying to slip her skinny ass out of the belt. Finally, they ended up cutting it to get her out. She tell my mom I'll take you to lunch in Twin, but first they had to stop by Costco. After snacking on a few Costco samples Aunt Yvonne would say so Shirley how was your lunch I got you. Alan Krieger

Yvonne was my best friend for 73 years and was special to me, my family, and my siblings. We loved being around her because she was so much fun to be with. We raised our families together through good times and bad. We had so many good memories of each other, with lots of laughing at the pranks we would pull during our High School days. She gave me my first Toni perm–which we left on for a couple of hours–it was a wonder I didn't lose my hair!!! It was like a "broom" that night at the dance we attended!! We had to keep going to the bathroom to wet it down so it would lay down a little. Our Halloween pranks were a lot of fun as well.
When retiring to Washington, Utah, I would go to Rupert each summer to visit my family, and Yvonne and I would go to lunch and reminisce about our lifetime events and talk on the phone for long periods of time. She will be missed but I'm happy she's not hurting anymore and will be with her loved ones. To her siblings, I'm glad I got to know all of you for the great people you are. John, thanks for taking such good care of Her. You helped Her to enjoy life a little bit longer.
