My sincere condolences to the entire Lloyd family. Max was and still is one of kind that comes along in one’s lifetime who leaves an enduring impression and lasting legacy. I will always remember him showing up on the construction sites with his affable demeanor, canine companions, empty toolbox, and cheerful greeting—“Hey Buddy!” Max was always willing to have anyone accompany him on some incredible horseback adventures. I am grateful to have been privileged to ride some ‘high line trails’ with him. His love of the ‘cowboy way’ was infectious and made everyone around him long for the old west. His presence in the Oakley Valley will be sorely missed but memories of him will linger with all of us forever. Max had a great ride here but is now on a trail that leads old cowboy’s home again!....L D Sager

Mrs. Lloyd and family, I am truly saddened to hear of Max's passing. Max and Lloyd Brothers made a huge impact on my life. Many years ago, I hounded them for a job when Max finally said "I will pick you up at 7." which he did for several years. Many years and numerous jobs later, i had picked up the knowledge of what came to be a life long career. I remember him saying "Chief- when the boss asks for a volunteer, no matter what the job- YOU be the first to raise your hand." I've often thought about him grinning and saying that, but I've never been out of work. Max and his twang will be missed. Our families' thoughts and prayers are with yours. Mike and Shannon Gorringe
Max Lloyd was one of our favorite customers at Farmer’s Corner over the years. Always the most congenial guy who seemed to know everyone and everyone enjoyed visiting with him. He will be greatly missed in our community. Our prayers and thoughts are with his dear family. Gay Dawn & Lonnie Downs
I have nothing but good memories of Max. I don't think I ever seen him without that smile! He will truly be missed. You're in my thoughts and prayers, always. Nicki Robinson
Our deepest condolences to the Lloyd family. Max was one of a kind. He was as real as they come, fun loving and kind. We appreciated all the support Max offered to our family, it was always good to see him in the stands cheering on the kids. He was always the first to call to see how Kambrie did. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Hank & Melanie Clark Kambrie & Cole Wright.
Sending thoughts and prayers to you all. Max was one of my favorites. I always enjoyed visiting with him. Big hugs to you all. Amie Halstead
Max was our home teacher for many years. He continued to visit me and to make sure I had an occasional treat of Sue's home made bread and jam, along with a dinner at Thanksgiving. I always enjoyed visiting with him at Warm Springs where I got to know many of his kids and grandkids. I am sorry to lose and a friend. May your family find peace and comfort during this hard time. Dwight K. Hale
