BURLEY - Troy L Thompson of Burley, passed away on Friday, January 17,2025 at the age of 80.
He was born May 10, 1944 in Wendell, Idaho, the son of James Cliff and Grace Thompson. He graduated from Jerome high school in 1962 and served in the Navy from 1962 until 1966. He married Gloria Clark on January 30, 1965 and they were sealed in the Oakland California LDS Temple on September 17, 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Clark Thompson of Burley, three children; Kelly (Heather) Thompson, Jenelle Droke, and Janet (Eric) Page; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Nolan (Kathy)Thompson, Bruce (Nancy) Thompson, Ned (Debbie) Thompson; and 2 sisters, Patricia Cecil and Connie (Bob) Mariner.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Burley LDS West Stake Center, 2420 Park Ave., with Bishop Cade Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery where Military Rites will be presented.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Highway 24, Rupert, ID 83350 and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Prior to the funeral.
