Vealton G. Teal, 85 year old Burley resident, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home in Burley.  He was born February 3, 1929 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the son of Joseph & Cecelia Teal.  Moving to Idaho with his family in the late 30s’, Vealton attended schools in Paul, Heyburn and Patsville, Nevada.  He lived in Arkansas, Nevada, California and Idaho.  Vealton loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family.  His greatest joy in life was spoiling his grandchildren.  Over the years, Vealton owned Teals Sanitation and Edith’s Café and numerous trucks which he drove.  Vealton is survived by his wife Lana Koepnick Teal of 33 years of Burley; his daughters Georgia (Terry) Grau of Middleton, ID.  Sherri Teal of McCall ID.; one son Donald (Natalie) Teal of Burley.  Two stepdaughters, Carol Smith (Russ Poole) of Rupert, ID, Dillene Gladfelder of Burley, ID; two stepsons, Richard (Shellie) Gladfelder and Rod (Shaunna) Gladfelder both of Logan, UT.; Two sisters, Bonnie (Wally) LaMay of Oregon and Cora Leascher of Nevada; one brother Ray Teal of Burley, ID.  He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Renee Erickson, one son Frank Joseph Teal; three brothers Dee Teal, Jerry Teal and Billy Teal; one granddaughter Raysha Gladfelder Nielsen.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert.  Burial will follow in the Rupert Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Morrison Funeral Home in Rupert and from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the funeral.
