Dorene Allan, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Ogden, Utah, at the age of 89 after an extended illness.  Dorene was born in Wellsville, Utah on January 6, 1926 to Earl and Elsie Johnson Wyatt.  She was raised in Wellsville and graduated from South Cache High School.  She married her long time sweet heart, Clayton Allan on February 20, 1945 in California.  Later their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple.  Dorene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a great story teller and read often to her children.  She loved spending time working in the yard cultivating her beautiful gardens.  In her youth she was a talented artist and seamstress who designed many of the clothes that she made.  Dorene worked for Del Monte, Simplots, and ZCMI.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various callings including Relief Society and she and Clayton served as dance directors for the Gold and Green Ball.  Dorene is survived by her children, Susan (Bob) Hurren, Kim Allan; granddaughters, Rebecca Harris, Elizabeth Allan; Great grandchildren, Tristan and Kiera Harris; her sisters Galane Lloyd, Connie Janice; her brother LaVall Wyatt.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton, her  parents and her brother Reed.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Wellsville Cemetery in Wellsville, Utah.  Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert prior to the graveside.
