The world was blessed with Jeffrey Taylor Wadsworth on January 5, 1953; on June 16, 2016 heaven gained a courageous soul. Jeff’s life began as the first son born to Joe and Adreane Wadsworth. He joined two older sisters, Vicki and Pamela and later became a big brother to Kelly, Robin, and Kim. Although Jeff’s health trials began early in life, his eyes showed only a smile and his giggle shook his entire body. The only thing bigger than his remarkable work ethic was the love for his two boys, Jeffery and Brandon. His family was his hobby and his priority; he took sincere interest in his numerous nieces and nephews and loved them very much. He was kind to animals and always has his two loyal dogs by his side. Jeff loved the outdoors and was happy when he had a fishing pole in his hand or harvesting a bounty from his garden.

His father Joe, mother Adreane, brother Kelly, and nephews Mark and Raymond Boyd are surely celebrating his return. His two sons, Brandon Wadsworth and Jeffery Wadsworth along with his sisters Vicki (Allen) Brashear, Pamela (Lanny) Denton, Robin (Ken) Raabe, Kim (Vince) Bedke will always remember him as a beautiful, kind, humble, and courageous human being.  As you think of Jeff, let him be a reminder that we should treat each other with a little more kindness and respect, for we never know the battles a person may be fighting. You Jeffery Taylor Wadsworth will always remain our rock and our inspiration.

A celebration of his life will be held on July 16, 2016 at the Burley boat docks (3rd patio to the right) from 3pm to 5:00 pm. Please come share a memory and little laughter.  Cremation services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Rupert.

Robin and family, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. Thinking of you with love and concern.

From Raymond D. Cope
I remember when great uncle Jeff took Jeffery and I ice fishing up to Oakley Reservoir.  It was my first and only time I  had went ice fishing and Jeffery Jr. and I decided we would go out just a little further and try that spot and we waited out there and finally Jeffery Jr caught a fish oh man the fight was on Jeffrey got it all the way out of the hole grab the fish and it slipped out of his hands and went right back in the hole it was a pretty good-sized fish and then Jeffery arm was soaked and freezing cold water and I think Jeff just giggled thought that was great probably because he knew I was just going to be another fish story. This one time Jeffrey and I had decided to run away so we did and we only made it to Hazelton to find ourselves and Uncle Skeeter house we talked to Uncle Skeeter not to let him know where we were he said okay in about an hour later my dad Gene cope and Jeffery dad Jeff were there to pick us up and well my dad told me about the whole ride home uncle Jeff never had to say word to Jeffery does my dad had already have that covered who was the homeless man I ever known I could only wish to be as humble as he love you Uncle Jeff and I give my condolences to Branman Wadsworth and Jeffery Wadsworth
