Russell Allen Frazier “Russ,” 59, of Burley, joined his Heavenly Father Friday March 30, 2018 in Burley, Idaho. Russ was born On November 17th,1958 in Ogden, Utah. He was the third child of four to Clell Silas Senior and Beverly Jane Frazier.  Russ was married twice. From his first marriage he had his only child, Starla Anne in 1980. Russ served in the U.S. Navy. After he left the Navy, Russ came home to Burley, Idaho. In 1983 he started work at the J.R. Simplot Company in Heyburn. While on the Trimtable he had told the ladies working there that he had just seen his future wife walk through. So the ladies decided to do some matchmaking, which Russ was totally unaware of. So on April 30, 1983 they set up a coffee date for them. After only three dates they were married in Reno, Nevada on May 28, 1983. From this marriage Russ only had four–legged children.

Russ loved being with family. He was survived by his wife, Brenda Sue of 34 years;  a daughter, Starla Ann; his mother, Beverly; two grandchildren, Shanae Harris and Mat Mormondo; and his sister, Janice (Bernie) Oakes of Heyburn; and two brothers, Fritz (Diana) of Paul, and Clell (Marie) Frazier of Rupert, Idaho.

Russ loved to go fishing, camping, playing cards, and enjoyed being around his family. Russ loved to cook. He cooked at Wayside Café. He loved all the people he worked with. They were his family.

In 2013, Russ became sick and had to do kidney dialysis. Russ was also a colon cancer survivor.          Russ had a very big family.  Thirty-seven nieces and nephews, thirty-five great- nieces and nephews, and three great-great- nieces.     Russ was preceded in death by his father, Clell “Sy”; his sister-in-law, Diana; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Berry; and one great-great niece, Wendilyn Jean Harper.  We would like to thank Dr. Campbell and the emergency staff at the Mini-Cassia Hospital for their help.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. on April 14, 2018 at Grace Church in Rupert, Idaho.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Worked at the Wayside with Russ.  He was fun to work with and a very good cook.  He will be missed.

From: Clell Frazier Jr.
I love you Russ. I cant believe I'm going to have to live the rest of my life without you. I miss you so bad. I wish my big brother hadn't been taken from me so young. It hurts.
