Glenda Nadine York, 78, of Heyburn, passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2021, in Burley Idaho. Glenda was born on July 12th, 1942 to George and Esther Stromire in Rupert, Idaho.

Glenda graduated from Minico High School in 1960. After graduation Glenda lived in the Wood River Valley where she resided for many years.

Glenda later moved to the Mini Cassia area in 1998 to be closer to family and friends. Glenda enjoyed spending her spare time working with plants, camping, and with her beloved dog CC. Glenda took every opportunity to be in the outdoors, especially fishing on the Warm Springs River.

 Glenda's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Glenda is survived by her three sons, Jeff (Beth) Stromire; Randal (Taneka) Gardner; and Rick (Pam) York; her two brothers Merlin Stromire, and Terry Stromire; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Esther Stromire; brother Gerald Stromire; sister-in-law Patricia Stromire; and sister-in-law Karen Stromire.

At Glenda's request there will be a celebration of life scheduled at a later date this spring.

Glenda's family would like to thank Park View Care Facility, Marissa, and her amazing Hospice Nurse Jesiah for the overwhelming help, compassion, and comfort during this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert
