KEVIN REESE LIND
BURLEY - Kevin Reese Lind, 62 year old Burley resident, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Cassia Regional Medical Center from RSV and Pneumonia.
Kevin was born May 4, 1959 in Brigham City, Utah to Sarah Margene Stark and Philbert Dwain Lind. He joined two brothers and one sister at home. He was born with a cyst on his left eye as well as an enlarged liver and two spleens. He started wearing glasses at the age of two years old. At age nine he started losing his hair and was completely bald by the time he was 11. Problems with his speech and his eyes followed him his whole life.
He graduated from Burley High School in 1977 and always talked about being in the Burley Jr. High when it caught fire. He worked at Deseret Industries and Smiths. Kevin loved his cats. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing the organ and doing latch hook rugs. He loved going to church and was responsible for setting up the chairs for primary and cleaning up after church. He enjoyed each Monday night he spent with his family home evening group.
Kevin is survived by one sister, Jeanette Turner of Burley, Idaho; and one brother, Jeff (Patsy) Lind of Santa Maria, California and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stephen Lind, his brother-in-law, Paul Turner; his niece, Kimberly Turner and 2 nephews, Joshua and Jackson Lind. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at the View Chapel 554 South 490 East of Burley, with William Heward officiating. Burial will follow in the View Cemetery. A viewing for friends and family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday morning at the church prior to the funeral service.
