CHARLOTTE ANN STONE

BURLEY – Charlotte A. Stone, 78, died on

February 16, 2022, at home with her family bedside.

She was born December 14, 1943, in Rupert, Idaho, the

daughter of Edmund E. and Hildegard (Serr) Maier.

Charlotte graduated from Minidoka High School, Class of 1963, and attended College of Southern Idaho. After moving to California, she married Donivan Charles Stone on March 15, 1966.

Charlotte loved God whole heartedly and was a beautiful servant of Jesus Christ. Our Mom had everything that a person, who lived as long as she did, needs to survive. She had friends and made friends. She loved one man, who took care of her, and she took care of in return. She loved, fought, and stood up to anything that would harm her family, like a mother hen to her chicks, no matter how big the problem was, despite her size. She loved her family and took care of them as she would want to be cared for. Charlotte was very crafty, loved to sew, crocheted, cook/bake, and had a green thumb when it came to vegetation and roses (her favorite). Her confidence shined, loyal, compassionate, trustworthy and responsible traits she passed these morals on to her children and family and friends alike. Charlotte fit the mold of being a “Stone”. She was hard and was never crushed, despite her nickname, “Pebbles”.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donivan and her siblings: Violet Jones, Vonda Maier, Leo Maier, Gilbert Maier, Ruth Young and Roland Maier. Surviving in addition to her children: Charles Donivan Stone and his wife, Shellye, of Azle, TX; Malcolm Dean Stone and his wife, Constance, of Briar, TX; Yvonne Gayle Stone of Burley and Angel Ann Stone of Red Oak, TX. Grandchildren: Lily and her husband, Paul Burrhus; Kate and her fiancé, Cindy; Kaleb; Kylee; Micah and Elise. Great Grandchildren: Elyana and Grayson. Siblings: Wilma Gott and her husband, John; Terry Maier and his wife, Carole; George Maier and his wife, Jean; Roy Maier; Lynn Maier and Mark Robinson and his wife, Dee.

A service of interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Rupert Cemetery.
