Clifton F. Booth 75, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at his home in Paul.
He was born June 25, 1947 in Salt Lake City UT, to Gilchrist and Beverly Booth. He graduated from High School in SLC, UT and received an associate’s degree in automotive engineering.
He grew up with his cousin Steve Booth, who was like a brother to him.
He began working as a mechanic in 1967. He held this passion his entire life and was proud of the awards he received from Ford Motor Co. as well as his Master Technician Certification: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). He worked for West Valley Ford, Colonial Ford, Goode Motor, and Young Ford. He married and divorced Ray Hoen and Sandra Twitchell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Grace, his sister Pauline Strong, and a son in law, Sean Evans.
He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Evans, West Valley City UT, Connie Booth, Charleston SC, and Marsha (Brandin) Zemke), Burley ID, Shauna-Allakara (James Hackett IV), Goose Creek SC, Nancy(Kevin) Young, Heyburn ID, and Nicole (Phil) Johnson, Bredbury England. 16 grandchildren, and 19 Great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a wounded warriors program near you.
