With every birth there’s a blessing and with every stumble there’s a lesson to be learned. Kelly William Wadsworth was welcomed into the world on November 2, 1956 by his parents Joe and Adreane Wadsworth and three older siblings, Vicki, Pamela, and Jeff. He was later joined by two more sisters Robin and Kim. He made his way home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 after battling an extended illness. Kelly’s childhood can be summed up by saying that he was “all boy.” His competitive nature led him on the quest for adventure and his love of water dared him to jump off the highest of cliffs. Scaring his siblings brought a mischievous smile to his face. Kelly was blessed with the steady hands of a welder and spent numerous days and years in the dusty fields along-side his father Joe and brother Jeff, as they laid miles and miles of irrigation pipe. He loved collecting antiques and Native American collectables, feeling the wind blow through his hair while riding a fast motorcycle and listening to classic rock music. He valued the loyal companionship of his pets. Family was everything to Kelly. He believed in the healing powers of forgiveness and never let a conversation with his siblings end without a “tell the kids hello and I love you.” He leaves behind his brother Jeff Wadsworth and three sisters: Vicki (Allen) Brashear, Pamela (Lanny) Denton, Robin Faulkner, and Kim (Vince) Bedke along with numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much. His parents, Joe and Adreane Wadsworth along with his nephew Mark Denton Cope waited patiently to greet Kelly as he made his way home. His mischievous laugh and the sparkle in his brown eyes will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. A celebration of Kelly’s adventurous life will begin with “Kelly’s Rebel Ride” on the morning of June 28 as his family takes him on one last ride. The celebration will continue at 7:00 pm with a BBQ and get together for family and friends at the home of Lanny and Pamela Denton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that time is spent with your loved ones and the opportunity to say “I love you” is never missed. Cremation Services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home & Crematory in Rupert.
