John Gary Fonnesbeck, 75 Burley. Passed away December 4,2017 with his family by his side. 
John was born to Orlando and Marjorie Fonnesbeck July 25, 1942. He lived in Malta until his dad passed away from a car wreck in 1948. His mom remarried Roy Moncur and they moved to Challis, Idaho to ranch and farm. Later they moved back to Burley where he attended Burley Jr high and graduated in 1961 from Burley High School.
John married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Clydine Bell, December 16, 1961 in Oakley, Idaho. He always joked he asked out Clydine because he liked her horse. They had two children JD Fonnesbeck (Michaele) of Boise and Suzette Ball (Bryan) of Paul which John was a great father to. John had 4 grandchildren he was very proud of Brant Ball (Chelsey) of Paul, Johnathan Aguero (Brooke) of Lehi, Ut, Ashley Staker (Jerick) of Rupert, Charly Ball of Paul. Along with six great-grandchildren, Karver, Kashtyn, and Kellyn Staker, Ellee and Briggs Ball, Kayleen and baby Aguero due in May. His brothers were Kenny Fonnesbeck (Jeanette) of Forest Grove, Or., David Fonnesbeck (deceased), Eric Fonnesbeck (Nancy) of Burley, Don Moncur (Sharon) of Heyburn, and step-brother Dallen Moncur(deceased). He also thought of his three brother-in-laws as brothers, Gilbert Hunter (Connie), Mike Hunter (Kim) both of Oakley and Terry Hunter(Rebecca) Twin Falls. He had several nieces and nephews he always loved to tease.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orlando and Marjorie, Step-father Roy Moncur, brother David Fonnesbeck, Step-brother Dallen Moncur, his father-in- law Clyde Bell and mother-in-law Maxine Hunter, and brother in-law Mirkle Hunter 
John and Clydine owned an insurance agency and worked side by side for 27 years. John always enjoy visiting with his customers and meeting people. He worked many different jobs over the years, sold real estate, he drove truck, auctioneered, sold cars, worked construction, farmed, and raised cattle. He loved to go to the coffee shop every morning and afternoon to visit with us buddies. 
Together John and Clydine spend many great years doing the things they loved with their family from fishing, snowmobiling, camping, four-wheeler riding, riding horses, racing chariot teams and racing horses. John enjoyed team sorting with his friends on his other loves, his horses, Colonel and Zipper. 
Clydine, Suzette, Bryan and JD would like to thank Gene and  Sherry Funk, Tom Blayney, Jim and Barbara Mai, Forrest and Terry Fonnesbeck, Eric and Nancy Fonnesbeck, Don and Sharon Moncur, Phil and Verna Mai, for the help, support and love they gave them last four months. A special thank you to Dr. Hymas and his staff at the St. Luke's Mountain State Tumor Institute and to Park View's staff for their excellent care along with Intermountain Homecare and Hospice.
A celebration of his life will be held at Morey's Steak house on Thursday, December 7, from 4:00 to 7:00. The family would love to have John's friends and family come to enjoy their great memories of him. 
The family ask in lieu of flowers donations can be made to your charity of choice.  Cremation services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home and Crematory in Rupert.
