Judy Annetta (Law) Wardle joined her beloved husband in heaven on February 27, 2026. She died in her home in Twin Falls, Idaho after a seven year battle with leukemia. She was born in Boise, Idaho on May 21, 1944 to Aerol and Vernace Law. She was the oldest daughter and second oldest of ten children.
Judy spent much of her childhood helping corral her eight brothers and one sister. While in high school, she met and began dating Clair Wardle. After graduating from Borah High School she went to beauty school. Upon Clair’s return from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints they married on April 7, 1965 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they welcomed seven children.
Judy rarely sat idle and was a hard worker. She had several jobs throughout her life, usually working multiple jobs at the same time. When she wasn’t working, she could be found sewing, crocheting, knitting, or quilting. She loved creating dresses, blankets, afghans, dish rags, pot holders, and various other items for her friends and family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were all blessed to be recipients of her talent.
Judy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various callings throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her eternal companion, Clair, her parents, two brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law. She is survived by her seven children, Shannan (Rob) Mayer, Twin Falls, ID, Velden (Nikki) Wardle, Riverdale, UT, Lisa (Brian) Eichler, Middleton, ID, Deanna Carter, Twin Falls, ID, Amy (Ken) Gallegos, Boise, ID, Eric (Nicole) Wardle, Burley, ID, and Kari Wardle, Boise, ID; seven granddaughters, twelve grandsons, and fourteen great grandchildren, six brothers and numerous extended family.
Judy’s family is so profoundly grateful to the medical professionals who provided care for her over the last seven years. We are eternally grateful for the extended time we had with our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Twin Falls 1st ward building, 847 Eastland Ave North, Twin Falls, Idaho.
