Annabelle Garcia

Sep. 7, 1953 - Oct. 14, 2026

Date of Service: Oct. 19, 2026

Annabelle Aguero Garcia, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of profound faith, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026, in Caldwell, Idaho. She was 73 years old.

Annabelle entered the world on September 7, 1953, in Alamosa, Colorado, during the potato harvest season.

Born to Macario and Olivia Aguero, her early life was shaped by her parents' journey as migrant farmworkers traveling from Texas to Colorado in search of work. It was during this season of hard work, resilience, and sacrifice that Annabelle's life began, rooting her family story in deep love and perseverance.

A devoted Christian, Annabelle knew and loved God with all her heart. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she walked through the world anchored by the promise of eternal life through her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Though her passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who loved her, her family finds comfort in their faith and in the hope of a heavenly reunion. She is now at peace, resting in God's loving presence.

Annabelle's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her siblings Macario (Julia) Aguero, Josie (Ted) Garcia, and Lollie Gonzalez. She was the proud mother of her only daughter, Janie (Juan) Garcia. Her legacy of love continued to grow over the years, surrounding her with the warmth of her grandchildren, Odyssey (Brendon) Labra and Zayden Garcia, and her cherished great-granddaughters, Mila and Ella, along with a beautiful extended family of loved ones and friends.

Annabelle was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Macario and Olivia Aguero; her husband, Joe Garcia; and her sister, Olivia Aguero Badger. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering faith, her strength, and her enduring love.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon, October 19, 2026 at the Morrison Funeral Home, located in Rupert. Private Family Urn burial will take place at a later date at the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home in Rupert.

Many memories. We called ourselves. Las primas. In my fifties going back to school. Telling her how scared I was. She said write this down. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It did. Still does. This picture is how I remember her. Beautiful inside and out. Rest in peace
From Marca Stephens:
Annabelle is home with Jesus. Her deep abiding faith was her testimony - everything she said and did was out of love. She was a special friend to me for many years. I haven't seen her since I moved to NC 10 years ago. But I well remember the big smile that was always on her face, how loving and kind she was.
From Yolanda Garcia:
Ana, I remember you from the seventies, you reminded me about dancing. I bumped into you at smiths and you told me how we were at the dances. Well I was more interested in the lord, I am happy that you have gotten so close to him. He is the best to lead us through life. You made excellent choices God bless you and your family, enjoy heaven. Yolanda Garcia.
From Herman Aguero :
I am saddened by are loss Tia. Are lives will be a little darker with you gone, but I am happy for you. You will be going to where we all want to be. In the arms of the Lord. You have fought a good fight and now it is time for you to rest. We all love you and will always miss you. God bless you and Good bye SEE YA SOON.
From Annette Smith:
"Grace and peace be with you in the comforting presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved

Your mother was a true woman of faith — her love for the Lord was evident in her kindness, her prayers, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.

While she was short and feeble in stature due to her medical conditions, this woman was a powerhouse for God. She has earned her crown in heaven, and I will miss her.

While our hearts ache with grief, we take comfort in the promise of John 11:25: 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.'

Please know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers, asking God to wrap you in His peace and strength during this difficult time."
From Michelle Andersen:
Oh my sweet Annabelle . I loved you with all my heart. The only peace I have is knowing you are with God . My heart goes out to your family. May God bless your heavy hearts
