Tad was born in Covina, California and spent most of his youth in Estacada, Oregon. Here he learned to love the outdoors and everything mechanical. He loved to draw pictures of big trucks and heavy equipment. He became a heavy utility driver and worked for his father many years under Delph Construction. He had an amazing talent for working levers and driving.

He was a wandering star and had multiple jobs during his travels. He also traded and worked on vehicles for extra income. He later settled in the Mini-cassia area (Idaho) and worked for Hoffco Construction and Circle A.

Tad was determined, deep, funny, stubborn, strong-willed, resilient, and passionate. His favorite pastimes included swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, camping, singing, racing, and working in his shop. He loved watching his favorite TV shows including Shepherds Chapel, and reading his favorite books from Louis L’Amour. Treasured memories include Lake Mead in Nevada, Hawaii, and Cannon Beach in Oregon. Most of all he treasured his love for his Lord and Savior.

He held a particular fondness for V8 juice, milk with ice, prime rib, and watermelon, among other delights. His preferred music was Bread, some classic Rock n Roll, Old School worship like Amy Grant, some oldies throw backs, and The Beach Boys. He enjoyed watching films like Lonesome Dove, True Grit, It’s a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas, American Graffiti, Aliens, and silly Sifi flicks. His favorite football team was The Chargers, and he loved a good game of baseball!

Tad’s lessons on how to bass fish like a pro and find the best skipping rocks will not be forgotten. His belief in standing up for what's right unabashedly, and living by faith unafraid, will continue to guide those he left behind. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, his dogs Zippy & Koda, goats, and chickens, and all those he left a lasting impact on.

His bright personality, reflected in his favorite colors blue and yellow, and the laughter he brought to his favorite local spots including Stevos, Guppies-Hot Rod Grille, Melody & The Blue Room will be remembered by all.

A private memorial will be held within the families gathering at his home in Jackson, ID for Thanksgiving. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 12, 2027, at noon at Lake Walcott State Park.

His life, and presence will be greatly missed, but we look forward knowing we’ll see him again, and that he is in peace with our Lord and the Angels.

“May You Sail on in the sea of Heaven, Dad”
